Robby Piantanida is a multi-disciplinary artist whose work blends style, efficiency, and a deep connection to movement and visual storytelling.

As a director and cinematographer, Robby is known for his fluid camera work and mastery of motion, especially in dance and movement-based storytelling. A licensed drone pilot and second unit director, he brings a unique blend of technical expertise and artistic vision to every project. An avid lens collector, he frequently uses custom-modified lenses to craft distinct visual styles that define his work.

His skills as an editor are twice Emmy-nominated, with one win, showcasing his precision, speed, and creativity across color grading, sound design, scoring, and visual effects. As an Executive Producer, he led the team that won a regional Emmy for Fertile Ground, a documentary exploring food access issues in Mississippi’s capital. Robby has collaborated with major names such as Warner Brothers, Paramount, Apple, CAA, PBS, Adidas, Ferrari, and Spotify.

Chase Everett is a Madrid, Spain-based sound designer and recording engineer renowned for his ability to craft immersive, world-building soundscapes in audio post-production. With a meticulous ear for detail, he brings a cinematic depth to every mix, balancing technical precision with a deep artistic sensibility. As a re-recording mixer, Chase is known for his granular approach, shaping sound with an organic richness that enhances storytelling and transports audiences into new sonic realms.

His expertise spans animation and live-action, having served as a recording engineer and sound editor for Netflix Animation before transitioning to his current role as a sound designer for Netflix on the live action side. His work has contributed to major productions, where his ability to blend technical mastery with emotional resonance makes him a sought-after force in the industry.

A native of Jackson, Mississippi, Chase was immersed in the world of sound from an early age. The son of a Grammy-winning recording engineer and producer, he grew up in his father’s studio, absorbing the nuances of audio production and refining his craft long before stepping into professional roles. With a lifetime of experience in studio environments, Chase’s intuitive understanding of sound has been shaped by both formal training and a deep-rooted passion for audio storytelling.

Now based in Madrid, Spain, Chase brings his expertise to Ambient Film, shaping its immersive sound design. His work blends environmental recordings with carefully crafted audio elements, enhancing the series' natural and meditative quality. By focusing on clarity and authenticity, Chase ensures that the soundscapes complement the visuals, making Ambient Film a fully realized sensory experience.

TYLER TADLOCK | Composer, Sound Designer, Music Supervisor, Designer

Tyler Tadlock is an improviser, designer, and music producer whose work bridges the realms of ambient, electronic, and experimental music. Best known for Spirituals, his long-term solo project, Tyler has garnered widespread recognition for his immersive soundscapes and evocative live performances. His compositions blend organic textures with electronic synthesis, creating deeply atmospheric works that invite listeners into meditative, introspective trances.

Currently serving as the Music Supervisor and Executive Producer for Ambient Film on PBS, Tyler plays a pivotal role in shaping the series’ auditory landscape. With a background in ambient music, improvisation, and composition, he curates and produces original music that enhances Ambient Film’s signature hypnotic experience.

Beyond his work on Ambient Film, Tyler is a sought-after collaborator, regularly working with like-minded musicians, filmmakers, and artists across various creative disciplines. His works have been featured in Vice, Resident Advisor, XLR8R, Pitchfork, and has appeared on NTS Radio, KEXP, Dublab, Mary Ann Hobbs’s BBC6 Four Tet guest mix, and Gilles Peterson’s WorldwideFM.
